Sri Lanka Economic Crisis Support
During Sri Lanka's 2022 foreign exchange crisis India extended a package of emergency support covering fuel, food, medicine and fertiliser. Most of that support took the form of credit facilities and deferred payments, not grants.

The physical assistance is the recorded figure — this site does not convert goods into a rupee value of its own.
Background
The package combined credit lines for petroleum, food and medicines, a currency swap, and deferral of settlements under the Asian Clearing Union. A separate, smaller component was outright humanitarian grant assistance, including consignments of rice and medicines. This site records the two components separately, because reporting them as a single 'aid' number would misrepresent repayable financing as a gift.
